Bestie Birthday Trip

Finding friends that are born within weeks of you is perhaps the smartest thing you could ever do because then a bestie birthday trip can also be born and BESTIE BIRTHDAY TRIPS ARE THE BEST!!! Year two in Arizona and I don't regret a thing. We did all of our favorite things: eating, shopping, talking, drinking (extra large sodas), swimming, singing with Taylor, and planning our next trip(s). We've been together through really high highs and some of the lowest of lows and I'm so grateful for their loyalty and love. Runners Club forever!!!

vv glad that I asked the worker to come out from behind the register to snap this pic of us.
it is wayyyyyyy better than the selfie, amen.

There's a first time for everything, wink wink!

Matching hats and matching towels and matching books and matching keychains because our new tradition is to bring three gifts to our trip and we all get to own three matching items!

I hate heights and yet year two also found me on top of this ridiculously high rock wall where I did not die but I thought I might die from jumping.

Stuffed seven fresh grapefruits in my carry on and I wish I would've taken eight.

First time in the airport together, but def not our last! Happy birthday to us.

The reMAYns

Birthdays and baseball, elections and house projects, soccer and track and concerts and dance. Covid for T, but also a presidential academic award, field trips for Quinn with Mama in tow, Everett made all-stars and then our life was swallowed by baseball--even more than it already was--and Cora had parties and posters and was my very best sidekick for her very last month of half-day school. May is my favorite month of the year because not only does it house my birthday, but it leads us right into the best season in existence: SUMMMMMMMMEEEERRRRRR! This May was a good one.
