Meet Juniper Love

Her birthday is December 18th but her adoption date into our crazy Wiggy crew was February 10th...also known as the best day of our quarantine life. She's a full-bred yellow lab who was born on a ranch in Reno. She's timid but has a wild side. She's cuddly but don't be fooled because she's a work dog (just ask James). It's hard to believe in a million years she could have found a family that would love her more, even when she potties on my floor and lives up to her nickname, "Madame Nips-A-Lot." She's got all six of us wrapped around her furry little paw.

These were my first two pictures of the little angel. Love at first sight!

A few more pictures from the breeder. She was so helpful, even when I was a nervous wreck. I was more nervous to get a dog than I was to have another baby, as ridiculous as that sounds. Luckily, this was way easier than a c-section and she's been a dream infant.

Meeting my baby, oh my gosh! Juniper!!!  Your mama loves you!

SURPRISE!!! The kids had no idea and Everett started crying when he found out she wasn't on loan! We get to keep her? Yep, she's a Wigginton!

This was the one day when she loved me most in the world. After this day, James. She's obsessed with James! (I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous at all!)

This is when it started, hahaha! The baby is obsessed with her Dad, and his dreams have come true with a yellow dog to call his own.

Simultaneously teaching math and cuddling the puppy.

Playing with Uncle B.

The day after getting Juniper the kids and I left for 48 hours in Los Angeles. Juniper came home early because of a winter storm so the timing wasn't perfect, and Everett especially took it quite hard. There were a lot of tears, and then he begged me to print off some pictures of Junie to put into this purple heart that he kept on his body all weekend long.

Juniper and Tris...destined to be best buddies!

Hashtag: Homeschool.

First bath. We still have a lot to learn to perfect this process, but gosh I loved holding a baby fresh from the bath, even if it was a pup!

That baby loves to lay under the piano bench and listen to T practice. It's so sweet to see them together.

He carries her around like a newborn baby and when she outgrows his arms it'll be a sad day all around.

T is an EXCELLENT trainer. He and James have been training our Juniper Love and she can now do all sorts of things (if she feels like it, hahah!) She can sit, stay, shake, jump, lay down, fetch, spin and is working on rolling over. She's a smart dog and she has the very greatest humans.
