December (Not Christmas, but Christmasy!)

Each month gets progressively busier and this one was no exception. I think I learned this month that even though I can sub every single day of the week, I probably should not sub every single day of the week.

My new planner came in the mail and that dog in the center looks like someone else I know...

It's Juniper Love!!!

Beanies and puzzles and the cutest sisters.

This is how December felt--blurry and busy and still so beautiful.

It was hero day at school and my baby dressed up like Taylor Swift. Couldn't be more proud if I tried.

Quinny had a wrestling tournament where mom and dad watched and cheered but Uncle Chase coached and comforted. It was the sweetest thing.

Juniper Love Sunshine Rose is TWO!!!

I think they look nothing alike but then I turned over at the band concert and saw them sitting together like this and it made me understand why people are always saying they look so similar!

This is what my heaven looks like--a room full of candy!

This night was a dream!

LIGHT THE BEAM

My new favorite picture of this crew, they are the cutest

Christmas ornament probably make me too happy but they are so bright and colorful and fun!

The last few years of Michelle's ornaments...love these every year!!!

BYU won, but so did the UoP mascot so...

It's all fun and games until you're hosting a NYE party and the power goes out and there's a fallen tree and a car accident at your parents house and it's storming outside so everyone leaves before the ball even drops (not that we could watch it...no power!!!) Hopefully this is not an omen of how this next year is going to play out.

Christmas

Christmas this year was magical, perfect, better than any other we've ever had. We were all healthy, we were all happy, we were all excited to give and get and plan and play. I am truly, truly counting my blessings for a beautiful holiday season in 2022.

This was my Christmas Eve breakfast and I've never been so excited to eat in my life.

Christmas Eve movie in PJ's is always so much fun.

T as Joseph and Cora as Mary was so stinking darling for my mama heart

Matching jammies will always be a favorite

Cookies for Santa, not made by me so even better!

Family present: a new computer!!!

Quinn's face says it all!

Even Junie got a Christmas present.

She wanted a giant Snorlax more than anything and Santa made it happen.

Cora wanted to boy American Girl doll, so here he is!

T got to Lego set he's been eyeing for years.

And Ever got a brand new Dodger blue baseball glove.

They all exchanged sibling gifts and were equally excited to give and receive.

I commissioned this piece of the Stanford Memorial Chapel for James and it is flawless.

And James got me the vintage winking Santa mugs I've been talking about for years. They are perfect!

We went to church and oh my gosh somehow we were all looking and smiling at the camera (HOW?)
