I know I've said it a million times, but there are moments when I so clearly get that these kids are mine, like when their hand shoots up in the air as soon as a helper is requested in the bubble show at Union Square Park:
But then the DJ starts spinning the beats and all the other kids are grooving, and frankly I'm dancing too, but I look over at my children and they are doing this:
And I think, "Um...where did you guys come from?"
And just in case you were wondering, it was National Beef Jerky Day last week. To celebrate we went to "Meat Rushmore" in Columbus Circle. Yes, that is a 15 foot replica of Mt. Rushmore made exclusively from Beef Jerky. Weird and yum.
