Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Saying goodbye is so lame. I hate goodbyes. Sad.
Our last Sunday was hard. I cried. A lot.
BUT...
we will LOVE and REMEMBER these people forever.
(Obviously I didn't take lots of pics...it was Sunday for heaven sake. But we love everyone!)

The International Relations students.

The Relief Society Presidency.
My Relief Society Presidency. The old Relief Society Presidency.
I was released. And I cried.

A family picture on our last Sunday in Cambridge.

  1. Heather,
Hi I love all your updates. So are you back in the states now? What an incredible experience you have had. You look great - love the black dress and mostly love the pic of Talmage and James.

  2. It's hard to leave something you have fallen in love with. If it makes you feel any better... we look forward to seeing you! :) I'm thinking girls night out!

  3. It is your last night here, I am hoping that it will not be a rushed one full of stress and last minute dashing about, instead I wish for you all, that the love you have shown to everyone here will be reflected back on the Three Wiggy opera as it brings its curtain down in Britain that members up there will take care of everything this evening and that you all enjoy a good nights rest before you make your way home. I can think of some very excited people about now.....with arms open wide to get a Talmage hug...who knows you and James may get some too! There is a song here "We'll keep a welcome in the hillside"..with the punch line "till you come home again to Wales" please do come back one of these days as we adopted you as natives xxx

  4. Heather - It is so hard to say good-bye. But, I believe that you are on your way to California right now and I am so excited for you to be reunited with your family and for your parents to get to know cute Talmage again. What an experience! Good luck with the travels.....I will continue to check this to see what you are up to. We miss you already!
