Utah according to "Sam"

I am so very grateful for cameras on phones so that I can capture little moments when whipping out my big camera would be impossible. Often the little moments in my life are the most meaningful and beautiful so I'm glad I can whip out my Samsung and memorialize the moment on this-here blog!

One of my favorite moments of the weekend (I could say that about so many moments--best weekend ever!) was watching Aunt Ash paint Quinny's toenails. Ash is the girly-girl among us and is SO good at what she does so I thought it only fitting that she give my baby's toes their first paint-job. Quinny was a crazy little cat and wouldn't sit still but Ash somehow painted each little toe even and perfect. If you think that Ash looks like she has a halo in the picture above it's because she is seriously an angel!

Jimmy Fallon game night was so. darn. funny. that my abs still hurt from laughing. Why is it so hard to just say a darn word? Tape game for the win, for sure!

The best Mema and the twin girls.

Uncle Chase walked into the house and was immediately met with a smiling, loving, little koala bear who jumped right into his arms. This baby is an equal opportunity lover and I'm so happy to share her with everyone. My little boys already adore their Uncle Chase and no doubt this little girl will follow suit!

My family gave me the surprise of a lifetime and celebrated my birthday on Friday night. The girls had gone out to do nails and when we came home I was being crazy and singing "All About that Bass" at the top of my lungs. I booty-bumped the front door open and was met with my whole family singing Happy Birthday. At first I was shocked, then surprised, and then I started crying because I was so happy and touched. We had my favorite Cafe Rio for dinner, Swig cookies for dessert and then played games and opened presents. It was such a great kickstart to my 30th birthday! {Also worth mentioning is that we ate at Waffle Love twice in 4 days and it was hands-down the yummiest treat I've ever eaten. In my life. The cinna-love waffle is a game changer. Dear Waffle Love, Please move to NYC! Love, Heath}

After taking family pictures (next post!!!) we all took turns playing on this HUGE swing by the river. It was so high and so fast and I was pretty sure I would be the one to fall to my death, but I didn't and I'm glad--both that I didn't die and that I went on the swing!

Quinny, blending in with the flowers.

We got to see Jaime Woodhouse when she dropped Kate off at my Mom's birthday celebration and it was so nice to visit (albeit, for a minute!)

Communal in Provo was the perfect place to host a fancy, adult-only dinner for the birthday girl! We ate amazing good, but by far my favorite part of the evening was going around the table and sharing our favorite thing about Mom--there were a ton of good things to choose from, that's for sure!

My arms are long, but dang I might need a selfie stick to truly be successful at this group-selfie business.

Ever never naps, except when we switch time zones, disregard bedtime and wake him up early. I love a sleeping baby (and yes, he is still my baby!)

The Provo Rec Center was amazing! If I could move in, I'm pretty sure I would. {T just told me he wouldn't mind moving in as well and plans on sleeping in the water slide. Ev calls dibs on the lazy river. I guess I'll sleep on the treadmill!) This place is now officially a must-do every time we go to Provo (especially when school is still in session and there are literally NO kids there except for our own!)

The triplets at Zupas. I can't get over those babies together!

Quinny LOVED swinging at the park by Ash and Jord's houses. Mostly I loved staring at those long, long legs peeking out the bottom. Legs for days, that Quinn.

Lucy and Quinny swinging together.

The boys love it when Ash and Mema put on their lipstick and kiss their cheeks. Everett talks a big game and says he doesn't like it, but you better believe he was reminding Ashleigh that she hadn't kissed him yet when it was time to leave. She made up for it real quick!

Two sleeping babies and one crazy T giving his cousin a hug goodbye (by tackling him to the floor, obviously!)

We took a red eye back to NYC and I was alone with the three kids. I'm just saying, but I deserve a medal. And a nap!
