Casts and Rainbows

Story about a Cast
A few days ago T and I went to Central Park with some of our friends. This park is totally eco-friendly and is SO much fun. The kids were having a blast on the swings, slides and in the sand (T is modeling his big boy slide skills below!)
Unfortunately, the perfect day in the park ended with quite a bump (literally). Little Gabe had a little accident down a big slide and we immediately knew something was not right. Sure enough...
Gabe at the Park (pre-accident):

Gabe at home (post-accident):
She broke her leg and has a cast clear up to the middle of her thigh. She is being so patient (and as always looks darling). It was pretty scary and we're glad she's OK.

Story about a Rainbow

It's been pretty rainy the past few days and so everytime there is a break in the weather T and I jump at the opportunity. Unfortunately we don't always come out on top...

We were 15 minutes into our walk when the rain started falling with a vengeance. I immediately turned back, but I was too late...we got drenched. T was in his stroller as I was running up the hill and he kept yelling "Cold, Cold, Cold!" Poor little boy.

But luckily after the storm passed (and we warmed up) we were able to go outside and see the biggest, most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen. The picture just doesn't do it justice. I loved it. It was worth getting soaked!
