Exactly one week after relaxing poolside in Maui I found myself by a different kind of pool (blow-up) with a different kind of fruity drink (otter pop) right in my own Los Angeles backyard. I was hanging with a much younger and rowdier crowd and my plus one was at work, but when I sent him these pictures with a joke about how this was almost the same as our fancy resort he replied quickly with, "Let's be honest--you're in heaven!" And he was right. Our home with our babies is just as good as it gets, and when he came home for a hot second to replace that otter pop of mine with a Westin-quality Roy Rogers it got even better.
(PS--I LOVE SUMMER AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!)
