Provident Living


Baby food is RIDICULOUSLY expensive here so we are honing up our provident living skills! Talmage is enjoying the yummy variety, and we are saving tons of money. One of Jim's professor's from last year has a pear tree. He generously gave us a huge bag of pears. We skinned them, cored them, lemon juiced them, boiled them, mixed them (thanks for teaching us what to do over the summer Mom) and oula, Talmage has food for five weeks. Throw in some oatmeal and sweet potatoes and we've got ourselves a delicious, nutritious and inexpensive meal. Now that's what I'm talking about!
