The truth is...

We are all trying to keep our happy-face on, but the thought of Everett having open-heart surgery in one week makes me feel just like this:

I really, really, really love this baby. Like REALLY love this baby. I'm praying for him like crazy and I know many of you have been as well. Thank you.

  4. Heather, my heart just aches thinking of what you are going through. I can't even begin to imagine sending my baby into open heart surgery. I will be praying for Ev and the surgeons who will be working on him!

  6. This breaks my heart and makes me cry. No little baby should have to have surgery and no mother should have to stand by and watch it happen.

He's so handsome. One of the most handsome little babies out there. The Lewises are praying for all of you.

  8. only every night and every morning xxx Inbetween that I come read your blog, or talk to Laura about you all, I was thinking yesterday if I was to pick out the thing I would want to give thanks for the most about Ev being a little Wiggy..would it be that he has great medical care in California, would it be he has a grandpa who is a doctor, would it be that your family is there for support? well all of these things are really worth being thankful for but to me the greatest blessing is that you are his mommy, when everyone else was smiling and cooing over your new bundle you knew there was something, you were on the ball there lovely girl and have been ever since. So thank you Heavenly Father for making Heather Evert's mommy xxx
